Animal Ethics website is available in 10 languages, now including Romanian

18 Mar 2022

We are happy to announce that our website is now available in a new language!

One of the goals we have at Animal Ethics is to spread information and arguments on key issues about animals and ethics to as many people as possible. To do this, we translate texts about topics such as speciesism, animal sentience, animal exploitation, wild animal suffering, and longtermism to different languages. Unfortunately, information about such issues is still unavailable in most languages around the world. So reaching new audiences requires doing a lot of translation work.

We are very pleased to announce that we have reached a new goal in making our website available in Romanian.

Concern for animals and animal advocacy has grown substantially in Romanian speaking countries in recent decades. We are happy to do our part to help to speed up this process by adding the language to our website.

This means that now our website is available in 10 different languages: English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Polish, Italian, Chinese, Hindi, and now Romanian. This means our potential global audience is huge. Of all human beings on Earth, the majority can read at least one of the versions of our website.

You can find the Romanian version of our website here

We will continue to work in this direction to make information available to as many people as possible. We expect to be announcing new versions of our website in the future.

Your collaboration can make a substantial difference in helping us achieve this aim. If you would like to help us translate more articles into Romanian or another language, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. You can also support our work through your donation, which will help us to continue to spread information all around the world.
