From September to November, Animal Ethics has given 30 talks in eight different countries

In the last few months, Animal Ethics has been very active giving seminars and talks. From mid-September through mid-November, Animal Ethics has been carrying out a tour of talks in the southwestern United States and Mexico. In these talks we presented the reasons to oppose speciesism and to be concerned about the situation of animals in the wild. Half of these talks were given at universities targeting students. In total, we have reached hundreds of attendees from different places. One of our talks, in Mexico City, was attended by more than 400 people, mostly young students.

In addition, Animal Ethics has also given a large number of talks and seminars in different countries. In October we gave three talks in London, including one at the Effective Altruism Global conference. Previously we also gave talks in England at the universities of York and Bristol, and we will give another one in Glasgow on November, 22.

Before that, we conducted seminars about speciesism and wild animal suffering in Australia; Christchurch, New Zealand; and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. In Spain we organized an officially recognized course about animals and ethics at the Complutense University of Madrid.

In previous months we presented several seminars about animal ethics, wild animals, and animal activism Brazil, at the Federal University of Espirito Santo. We also held a discussion forum at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, as well as talks by an Animal Ethics representative at the Federal University of Santa Catarina.

In total, in the last three months alone, we have given 30 talks in eight countries in several continents. We plan to continue carrying out more events in the future, although rather than the quantity of events, our focus will be on reaching targeted audiences, including students, academics, and people with a potential interest in effective animal activism.
